I am Rebecca Frances Rothery. I was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1970. I am the youngest of 4 and the only girl. When I was young I wanted to be Evil Knievel. Yes, you read that right. I did not want to be a stunt person. I wanted to BE Evil Knievel.

If that didn’t work out I wanted to be on the Gong Show.

I had several acts lined up. Later, I decided to be a child star on Little House on the Prairie.

I finally settled on acting for awhile.

Today, I am neither Evil Knieval or a child star. I am a middle school teacher, which is both scarier and more fun than the aforementioned jobs. I am a middle aged woman, struggling to be middle aged. I am the mother of three girls, each from a different decade!

I am almost always happily married to a mostly wonderful guy.

I have way too many pets. I love teaching, reading, being with friends, bothering my girls, singing, hiking, reading, and sharing stories.

I happen to have an autoimmune disease that puts a bit of a kink in my otherwise full life.
